Boltage is a non-profit program that uses solar power technology to track how kids travel to and from school.
Simple chip technology monitors how kids get to school. Each active trip logged is rewarded with a point, which can be managed and cashed in on the Boltage website and app for prizes. In addition to encouraging exercise, the Boltage program teaches kids environmentalism, empowering them to save their planet.
The Thunderbunny (a hybrid of a rabbit, and eagle) became the mascot for the brand. The inspiration for this mythical character came from wanting to encourage kids' individuality and to make participants feel life they are part of a secret club.
